Daniel is Board Chair of the Alabama Center for Employee Ownership and a co-founder of Lamplight, a free summer program in Alabama that teaches ownership skills to teenagers. A former high school teacher who now leads communications and worker-ownership at Ginkgo Bioworks, he works at the intersection of education, cooperative ownership, and economic development. Daniel is based in Birmingham.
