Who is the Fellowship for?

The Fellowship is for anyone — founders, entrepreneurs, executives, artists, educators, civic and nonprofit leaders — ready to take their work further. You do not necessarily need to be in tech or launching a startup — only working on something that matters, facing a real inflection point, and committed to doing the hard work that growth requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of people should apply? Do I need to be a founder?

No, you don't need to be a founder - but the Fellowship does prioritize leaders of organizations or those on the precipice of taking on a leadership role. The Fellowship is for those individuals at a real inflection point — people building, leading, growing, shaping, serving, or stewarding work that matters. Some Fellows are founders launching new companies, and others are pursuing new projects or ideas within existing companies and organizations. Other Fellows are artists, educators, civic leaders, nonprofit leaders, community builders, operators, or people carrying their work into its next chapter.

What is the time commitment of the Fellowship?

The Fellowship runs for about six months, typically from April through October.

It includes one weekend retreat in the spring and one weekend retreat in the fall, with four three-hour monthly Monday evening meetings and four hourlong guest speaker visits in between. Fellows should plan to attend all events. In between scheduled events, Fellows will be reading, completing assignments, and reflecting on and applying what they’re learning.

What happens between gatherings?

Between monthly gatherings, Fellows continue the work through coaching, reflection, reading, peer connection, and practical next steps tied to their own leadership and work. The goal is not just to be inspired in the room, but to carry that clarity and accountability into real decisions and actions in their work.

What is the application process?

Applications usually open in January. Once live, candidates will be able to complete the application form and submit a link to an online video answering three prompts:

  1. What is an idea, curiosity, initiative, or future vision that lights you up?
  2. What is a risk you’ve taken or a time you’ve bet on yourself?
  3. Why is this the right time for the Fellowship?

After the first round, selected candidates may be invited to an in-person interview. Finalists will be asked to confirm their availability for all required sessions before a small cohort is selected and invited to join the program.

When can I apply?
